Scrolling through my camera roll thinking,
it’s the third week of MCO and I realize I started missing those time where we all glammed up for events and shows...
I started missing the human touch other than those my family could give. I started missing my friends even more whom we could eat and share laughter together. I started missing the drive or journey in the car even if it’s with the greyest sky or heaviest rain. I started missing the fresh air outside that wasn’t a luxury for everyone. I started missing.... the freedom I had.
It really affected us. All of us. There are helpless people and stray animals out there worrying about their next meals. There are businesses striving or rather struggling to get through the lowest point of sales. There are health care workers, the frontliners, patients and their families fighting to succeed, nope, to survive.
Woke up from nightmares again this morning. Guess it’s the 3rd or 4th time during this quarantine period. Though everyday is still a happy day, there’s fear, deep inside.
Been wanting to hear the announcement of “No new cases confirmed”, “MCO has come to an end”, “Virus is cleared globally”, “The last patient is recovered and discharged”......
but Happy April Fools.
